Where We Fly
We fly from a take off site adjacent to Little Governors Camp in the
Masai Mara. The site is surrounded by trees meaning its protected and
is the perfect place from which to launch at dawn. Balloons drift with
the wind and so we can never predict precisely where we shall fly, but
95 days out of 100 we fly south over the Mara River and its riverine
forest, and then out onto the savannah plains of the Mara Triangle. On
other days, we fly where the wind takes us, but it is no less
spectacular! Flights typically last between 45 minutes and one hour.
We are privileged to fly what is widely considered by professional
balloon pilots as one of the best flight paths and best areas in the
world for ballooning.
